Description
xYaesu FT-70DR is a compact and affordably priced YAESU System Fusion transceiver, offering both conventional analog FM operation and advanced C4FM Digital mode. It delivers up to 5W of reliable RF power, while its large front speaker provides 700mW of loud audio output. With superior BER (Bit Error Rate) performance, C4FM ensures exceptional audio clarity. The FT-70DR features YAESU's Automatic Mode Select (AMS), which automatically detects the received signal mode—C4FM digital or analog FM—and instantly switches to the appropriate mode, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
A multi-colored LED Mode-Indicator on the front panel visibly displays the transmit/receive mode by changing colors, making it easy to identify the operating mode at a glance. The FT-70DR also includes Digital Group Monitor (GM) functionality with DG-ID (Digital Group Identification) and DP-ID (Digital Personal Identification), enabling simplified group communication. With 00–99 selectable DG-ID and DP-ID options, users can enjoy flexible and customized group communications to suit their operational needs.
